Age of Conan Delayed!
Well crap, it looks like Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures will be delayed an additional eight weeks. Funcom, the publisher of AoC, today announced that the game is being delayed to add more polish. The new release date is May 20th.
Well that sucks ass, there’s no way I’m going to be able to wait that long for a new MMO. Mythos is fun as hell, but I already completed all the storyline quests and doing the random generated quests is quite boring. Hmm, I think I’m going to have to make my way over to the LORTO site to see what new stuff has come out, might get back into that until AoC comes out.
Maybe they can give out a few more beta invites in the extra time in beta.
If you go back to LoTRO and start a character on Landroval, give me a shout. My character is Dojarim, a 16th level minstrel. You can read a couple summary posts about my LoTRO experiences on the linked Gleemax site.
I was just about to write a little about this, but you beat me to it. Although I would love to be playing this as soon as possible, I would rather the game be pushed back a little more in order for them to finish all the features they want to get into the game. Not to mention that they combined more classes which requires a little more balance work. All in all I think this is better for the health of the game.
