		<description>While I completely agree with your positives, that is one major drawback to things like steam.  What happens when Valve (and therefore steam) dies?

Granted, this is not very likely... right now.  You lose a lot of what you paid for when you buy through their system.  Better hope you turned all your games to offline mode so you can still play them.  Also, you have no way to download them again if you want to wipe (or lose) your hard drive.

Like i said, this is not very likely for Steam.  But as this becomes more popular.  Everyone and their brother will have their own system, making it more likely that some will die.

Great article though, especially on the PlayOnline Hate.  I knew i was in for a crappy game (Final Fantasy online) when it was such a pain in the ass just to give them my money.</description>
