China Bans Gold Farming & Bunny Hopping
Today(via InformationWeek) China’s Ministries have declared gold farming in virual games then selling it for real currency illegal, stating
“It isn’t far that noobies can just buy gold from gold farmers and then buy all the best gear while I have to grind my ass off for it”
they further added
“Bunny hopping in FPSers is also not fair, I can’t do it and they move too fast for me to hit”.
This marks the first time a country’s goverment has made it illegal for people to game a video game. China’s Ministries are meeting next week to discuss the possible illegalization of the medic, marine, seige tank strategy in Starcraft.
