Over the past two days Nexon has announced not one, but two additions coming to the company’s free-to-play line-up.  For starters the company announced that Dungeon Fighter Online has finally reached closed beta testing after tens of thousands of applications were filled out.

The company did not disclose how many applications were accepted, but it was sure to mention that additional servers had to be added to accommodate the flood of users.  Dungeon Fighter Online pairs the wonderful world of twitch fighting with an RPG fantasy world.

Not to be thrown to the side by a new MMOG (MMOFRPG?) MapleStory had its chance to shine as well.  Nexon’s most well known title has been graced with the latest of many content patches.  The “major” Cygnus Knight update adds the aforementioned knight, a whole new storyline and a new “Maker Skill” to the title, among other content.

A level 1 Cygnus Knight is unlocked for all players that are level 20 or higher.  Upon the knight reaching level 10 the player can select between one of five new jobs – Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Wind Archer, Night Walker or Thunder Breaker.
