The shoulders do not work on quest XP, just killing mobs.

I really enjoyed doing heroics, OS, Vault and NAXX. Once I progressed into Ulduar I got very bored with WoW. It feels like there is only one thing for me to do in WoW with my favorite character. And I can only do it once a week (actaully twice 10/25 man - but its the same thing). I tried playing alts, but hate the idea of doing the level grind AGAIN.

Im looking forward to 3.2 if only for a renewed reason to do heroics again.

Also those shoulders are great. While you are leveling you don't really nee the best items at all times. Too me its worth getting the cloth ones just so it works on all classes.
