The transitional period for anyone to really "get into" a game is the difference between casual v. hardcore gamers. While women may be less familiar with certain genres marketed toward male players, if we like the adventuring and game world set-up, any gamer will dedicate the time to learn the in's and out's of playing the game well. I've picked up Aion several times for the aesthetic graphics, but the fees and limitations exposed in the reviews I've read have delayed my motivation to buy it yet. I think there are many women who like fantasy action/adventure movies and fairytale worlds, so making an mmo that appeals to both sexes is not far-fetched or mean that it has to be SIMS or Call of Duty.
