Dungeon Fighter Online will be adding a guild system in an update on April 28th. Guilds can be created by paying 300,000 gold to Bucken in Downtown Hendon Myre. Five default ranks are available for guild members and guilds have a limit of 50 people at a time. Guilds will also have levels, which when increased grant their players special buffs and passive skills like experience boosts, stat boosts, and more. There will also be a pre-launch event for people to see the guild system in action. More information here, the full announcement is available below.

Dungeon Fighter Online adds new quest and Selectable Avatars Event as it prepares for the addition of highly anticipated Guild System later this month

Gamers can find plenty of new excitement in Dungeon Fighter Online, which updated today, adding an event that preludes the launch of a new Guild system on April 28.

Players can sign up for a Nexon ID at www.nexon.net and then download Dungeon Fighter Online for free to take part in the beta service. Nexon America plans to launch Dungeon Fighter Online this June.

In addition to the pre-Guild event, Players who venture into the land of Arad will also be able to try the new Selectable Avatar Items, which offer players a chance to choose from a whole catalogue of styles and stats to get the exact Avatar items they want. These items are purchasable through NX, Nexon’s real-money currency, and available for a durations of 7, 30 and 90 days.

When the Guild System launches later this month, it will provide a new and exciting co-op system for Dungeon Fighters. As opposed to simply joining a party, players who band together in guilds gain special boosts and bonuses. Players who participate in the pre-launch Guild Event quest can sample the Guild buffs first hand, and players who take part in party play will gain the Guild EXP boost.

And for those hoping to get their guild together before the system is added to the beta DFO has opened a Dungeon Fighter Online Guild Recruitment Page in the DFO forums at nexon.net.

To see the action, check out game videos at www.youtube.com/dungeonfighteronline. Dungeon Fighters are also welcome to show their support for eradicating evil in the Land of Arad at www.facebook.com/dungeonfighteronline.

The friday update for Star Wars The Old Republic is up, entitled Peace for the Republic. “Peace for the Republic” uncovers evidence suggesting that the Sith Empire has been infiltrating The Republic as far back as the centuries preceding the Great War, which was one of the most peaceful eras in Republic history. The entry focuses on the subtle infiltration by “Jedi Master” Barel Oveir.  You can read the full details below or just click here to watch the video.

BTC 103 – More than a century before the Sacking of Coruscant, two Jedi scholars embarked on a journey which became one of most inexplicable mysteries of its time. Young Jedi Knight Eison Gynt joined his Master in a mission to investigate the Ancient Sith Temple of Yavin 4. On Yavin, the pair was attacked by the native Massassi and driven into the Tomb of Naga Sadow where a powerful force of darkness emerged. Gynt’s Master returned to Coruscant wounded and half-insane, remorseful that young Eison Gynt had been killed in the chaos. Years later, however, Gynt returned from Yavin on his own and attacked his former Master. Gynt was killed and all assumed that he had been tainted by the darkness on Yavin 4 and returned to Coruscant for revenge. Nonetheless, the truth, as Master Gnost-Dural has discovered, may have been far more sinister.

Recently the Blizzard store added two new in-game items for World of Warcraft. Before these new additions were added the only in-game items that were sold were the pets: Pandaren Monk and Lil’ K.T. Well now the Blizzard store has added another new pet and also a mount! The new in-game pet will be Lil’ XT. Lil’ XT is one of the first bosses in Ulduar and will retail at $10 at the store.

Now what most people are excited about is this mount. This is the first mount that has ever been sold at the Blizzard store. The mount is called the Celestial Steed. When the mount was first introduced it was widely speculated that the mount would drop off Algalon (special last boss in Ulduar) or from a new boss in Vault of Archavon. The Celestial Steed will be a flying mount that will scale with your character’s current flying speed. The Celestial Steed will cost $25.

And also since the mount was introduced at the store yesterday there were rumors going around that there would be a limited number of the Celestial Steed at the store. People were reporting that there was a 10 hour que to buy the mount. This blue post clears up the rumors about the mount being a limited time only offer.
