Ever want to play an MMO that focuses more on spellcasters, sorcerers, and mages without all those pesky rogues, brutish warriors and fancy clerics? Well, look no further, KingsIsle Entertainment has released a magical MMORPG in Wizard 101 – the primary focus being on, you guessed it, wizards!

In Wizard101, players are dropped into the fantastical world of Wizard City as student Wizards setting out to test their Wizard skills, cast spells and summon powerful creatures to fight the surrounding evil forces. One of the most interesting facts about the game is that characters and worlds are influenced by literature, history and pop culture, giving the game a unique depth and ever-changing game system.

Wizards 101 recently reached 10 millions subscribers and Chairman and CEO of KingsIsle Entertainment, Elie Akilian, couldn’t be happier with the results. “Over the last twenty months our domestic launch has taken us from an unheard of company with an unknown product to running one of the most successful properties in the family entertainment space. I am profoundly grateful to the millions of extraordinary people who call Wizard City home and the talented writers, artists, designers, producers and engineers who have come together to create this magical world.”

As a token of gratitude to its loyal fanbase, KingsIsle Entertainment is offering every Wizard a complementary “Party Pack” and encouraging them to throw a grand celebration welcoming Wizard #10,000,001 to the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts. Every “Party Pack” will hold a festive banner, balloons, a neat party hat and a celebratory cake.

To receive this free in-game item set, head over here and enter the word PARTYPACK.

Wizard 101 can be downloaded for free through KingsIsle’s website, but a $6.95 per month per person fee (or you can opt for the flat yearly rate of $60) is required to experience all the game has to offer.
