USERJOY announces its free-to-play MMO Myth Angles Online adventure starts next October 6, opening the Chimera server at 17:00 (PDT) to all players owning a beta key.

Last time I told you about this game it didn’t have an official website but only a blog. Now you can get all the details about MOA in its new page.  If you want to apply for beta, you’re still in time, and USERJOY grants this:

And here he comes. Superman’s nemesis Lex Luthor is the new character revealed by SOE in its DC Universe Online MMO. This famous and glorious villain is one of my favorite characters in DC Universe. A genius criminal mind, opposing superheroes with the only help of his intelligence. That’s epic, but sooner or later a villain needs to upgrade his power to face all those good guys, messing around. We saw Lex into a powerful combat armor in the director’s cut  Who do you trust? video, showcasing a combat power comparable to Iron Man’s armor. Let’s face the truth: better villains… more fun. Lex is the best.

Action-MMO gamers rejoice! The true open beta of Vindictus is upon us! If you didn’t manage to get a spot on the Early Access Open Beta over the last few weeks, you now have a chance to get in on even more action. Nexon America has announced that the open beta for Vindictus for North America will start on October 13^th with an increased level cap, new dungeons, fishing, fireball-chucking vampires, and the ability to customize your character to look how you want with dyes and beauty shops to change your hairstyle and facial appearance.

For those of you already in the Early Access Open Beta, you have until 10PM on the 5^th before the servers are shut down in preparation for the open beta.

They want you back, and they want you now. That’s why Bioware-Mythic started this Return of the Legends welcome back operation for Ultima Online, Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot.

I was filled with hope when I heard the recent news about the closure of the barely 3 month old All Points Bulletin. Now before I am accused of kicking a game while it’s down, let me explain. I did not buy the game. I barely followed the game as it developed. I cared very little when it was released.  Most importantly, this article isn’t about APB. No, this article is about the many sub-par games being released in rapid succession due to a seemly popular developer slogan of “If you build it, they will come.”

Finally Legend of Edda, the GamesCampus free to play MMO, is ready to start testing how the game goes in closed beta phase. Tomorrow, as of now in 22 hours, everyone having a beta key can log in the game, make a character and explore this new cute and hardcore MMO, promising to have fast paced PVP combat.

Gameforge and Keen Games have announced the upcoming Star Trek-Infinite Space MMO. This new title is set to launch next summer 2011 and, as stated on the press release, will be a F2P browser-based game. The background for this new Star Trek adventure will the  Deep Space Nine timeline. The development team lead by Keen Games will be in conjunction with the expert Star Trek consultants Denise and Michael Okuda, with their base in Frankfurt, Germany.

“We have been incredibly excited about working on this project with Gameforge since day one. Star Trek is one of those franchises that every science-fiction fan would give anything to work on. We consider ourselves very lucky to have this opportunity and we are highly committed to delivering a Star Trek experience fans can be proud of.”

Star Trek games fans are going to have more choices next summer 2011, with the upcoming Star Trek-Infinite Space MMO.
