About

MMOCrunch was founded in October 2007 as a weblog dedicated to covering the MMORPG genre. Being a life long gamer and semi-hardcore RPG player I decided to create a blog to talk about upcoming MMO games as well as speak my opinion about the industry. This blog will not do the usually gaming coverage as you would normally see at any other gaming site, but instead we will try to keep things interesting and fresh. We hope you enjoy your stay.

If you would like to join our staff please email me at admin [at] mmocrunch [dot] com.  Paid per post position.

Mike (Site Owner/Writer) – I’m a 29 yr old gamer from New Jersey that has been gaming since I could hold a controller in my hands.  I’m the head writer and owner of MMOCrunch, but have been working online since 2000 on various web projects.  My MMO career started with Star Wars Galaxies and I’ve been jumping from MMO to MMO since, my longest stint was with Lord of the Rings Online which I played for about a year.

  1. Hey Mike,

Yes I’m interested in linking to your MMO news site. You’ve got a promising MMO blog.

Best New MMO Blog: This Gnomey goes to the best new MMO blog run by either a player or developer. To be considered for this category, the blog must have been created within 2007 and must show a consistent level of great posts since being unveiled. I am happy to award the Best New MMO Blog award to MMOCrunch! Congrats to Mike, Geoff, and Peter for creating the most compelling new MMO blog of the year.

  3. PS. You’re in “Our Friends” blogroll. Don’t feel obligated to reciprocate unless you absolutely want to. Cheers and gratz on the award! :)

  4. Hiya,

Great blog you have here. I’m adding a link to you guys on our blog roll, don’t feel you have to do the same but if you like our posts your more than welcome to. :)

  5. You should include Connor’s Asheron’s Call overview videos, people should really make more of these for other games too…

  6. Congrats on the blog from all of us here at YNK Interactive! We look forward to following your progress.
