Nexon has announced The Goddess of Light, a grand update for their fantasy MMORPG, which is scheduled for release on today, June 9. The update itself offers a variety of new locations and content, including the The city of Tera, capital of the, as well as some new features. You can now bid in the new Auction house, make wine yourself or joust with other players. But that’s not all – there will also be a series of events, including a fashion contest. It’s pretty rare that you see a corporation focused on free-to-play MMO’s at E3, but this year, there will be at least one. Nexon has announced their plans for the upcoming E3 convention. This year’s E3 will be held between June 15-17(only a few weeks left). The Nexon booth will offer anyone a chance to play Vindictus(also known as Mabinogi: Heroes) and Dragon Nest. Nexon will also be presenting its popular side-scrolling MMO Dungeon Fighter Online. This year’s E3 is going to be grand, by the looks of things.

Cronous, the free-to-play isometric MMORPG from NeoFun, is introducing its ninth season update. The update, titled “Devil’s Playground” introduces a brand new map called.. well, Devil’s Playground. The area will only be open during certain days of the week and will transform any regular battleground into a much larger one for an full hour, while also increasing the difficulty. Players must capture and guard artifacts known as “blessing stones.” The winning team will receive a 23 hour buff, along with an experience boost while the defeated players will have to face off against a difficult foe known as “Desert Kaniboros.”

Rock Hippo has announced MicroVolts, a new third person shooter MMO. Well, new to the North American and Europe market, the game is actually a localized version of H.A.V.E. Online, a game which was criticized for resembling Valve’s Team Fortress 2 a bit too much. Anyway, the game focuses heavily on PvP matches in small arenas where players are able to choose between two teams. The release date is still unknown.

We have some good news and some bad news for fans of MMORPG’s and classic turn based strategies – Heroes of Might and Magic Online has entered open beta. Now the bad news – it’s only in Asia. And some more bad news – even if you happen to be able to register and download the game, there will be IP restrictions meaning that anyone without a Asia-based IP address will not be able to log in to the game legally. But worry not – Ubisoft has already announced that they are working on a western localization for the game, so it’s only a matter of time before we are able to play the game as well.

The Dragonica Online team has announced exp boosts throughout the entire month of June. Every weekday the experience rate will be increased by +30% and every weekend it will be increased by +100%. Just like Karos Online, the experience boosts will stack up on any previous item that increases your XP rate(such as cash shop items), making June a great month for leveling for any fan of Draconica Online. Karos Online is offering all its players a 10% experience boost to all monsters killed is celebration of the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. The event will run from last Friday, June 4th until Thursday, June 10th. The experience bonus will stack with other experience boosting items as well, making these six days a great time for leveling your character. FreeStyle Street Basketball has introduced a brand new character, Spider, a member of the LA Goldbugs. Spider is a forward character with all-around abilities. He’ll be added with the upcoming update on June 9th along with the Gift System, which was previously passed on in early 2009, but is now being resurrected. There will also be summer events including a giveaway of a new character to all players who log in between June 23rd and July 6th, and ability stat increases for players who play anywhere from 15-50 minutes between June 9th and August 31st. 4Story’s development team has released a simple preview of the upcoming update to the game.
